Armour Receives Gold-Level Wellness at Heart Award

Armour Transportation Systems is very pleased to announce that we have been selected as a recipient of the prestigious “Wellness at Heart Award” from the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation. Armour was selected in the Gold category, which is the highest level of distinction that the Heart & Stroke Foundation’s Wellness at Heart Award Program can bestow.

This award recognizes how Armour Transportation Systems has made wellness an integral part of our organization through initiatives related to physical activity, tobacco-free living, healthy eating and psychological wellness. Armour successfully demonstrated the numerous activities and strategies we use in each of these four pillars in our “Shift Gears, Live Well” program.

In addition to receiving the Gold Award, Armour also received an “Award of Distinction” in recognition of our “specific efforts in ensuring a health promoting environment to your employees. The Award of Distinction is only given in circumstances where wellness programs are showing true innovation and use of best practices.”
