Giving Back

Armour Transportation Systems is proud to give back to the communities we serve throughout Atlantic Canada. Our focus continues to be on projects related to Health, Youth and Education.

Our charity of choice is the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Since 2003, ATS has contributed over $955,000 to JDRF in search of a cure for juvenile diabetes.

Since 2001, our company has awarded over $300,000 in scholarships to the sons and daughters of the Armour team who are pursuing their post-secondary studies.

If your organization would like to request a donation or sponsorship, please submit your request in writing by email or postal mail to the address noted below. Due to the volume of requests we receive, please allow up to four weeks for your request to be reviewed.

Each request must include:

  • Full name of the organization, including key contact information
  • Indicate if your group is a registered charity or non-profit organization in Canada
  • A brief overview of the organization and a description of the project for which the financial support is being requested as well as how it aligns with our focus areas of Health, Youth and Education
  • The amount being requested and anticipated use of funds
  • Description of sponsorship levels available, including how the contribution will be acknowledged
  • Deadline for the sponsorship opportunity

Armour Transportation Systems does not support:

  • Organizations that are not Canadian registered charities or non-profit groups
  • Individuals for personal needs
  • For-profit organizations
  • Religious organizations or any religiously affiliated groups
  • Travel, accommodations, meal expenses, conference fees, field trips, tours or beauty pageants
  • Statues, monuments and memorials

While Armour Transportation Systems would like to respond positively to each donation and sponsorship request we receive, the volume of requests obliges us to make difficult decisions amongst the many commendable projects that are brought to our attention.
