Armour Wins Shippers Choice 2015

Armour Transportation Systems is proud to announce that we have won the Shipper’s Choice Award in LTL, Truckload and Courier for the second year in a row! Armour is the only carrier in Canada to win in all three modes in both 2014 and 2015.

In order to win the Shipper’s Choice Award, customers are asked to fill out a survey which judges the performance of their carrier. According to Canadian Shipper, the survey offers Canadian shippers, 3PL service providers and freight forwarders an opportunity to set benchmarks for carrier performance on seven key performance indicators (KPIs) and to rate their top carriers against those benchmarks.

Carriers receive the Shipper’s Choice Award when their total score meets or surpasses the total benchmark of excellence for their mode. Carriers must also receive a minimum number of evaluations in order to qualify for the award. Of the hundreds of carriers rated, only a very few are deemed by participants’ evaluations as providing a service so superior that it warrants a Shipper’s Choice Award.

The Shipper’s Choice Awards Survey is conduced in partnership with the CITT and the Canadian Industrial Transportation Association (CITA), two associations whose members responsible for the purchase of transportation number in the thousands.
