Armour Transportation Systems hosts a complete, sustainable Wellness Program in order to support our employees and help them achieve their health-related goals. The Armour Transportation Systems Wellness Program offers discounted gym memberships, an Annual Spring Activity Program, Weight Watchers at Work, , Sleep Apnea Program, Smoking Cessation Group and Healthy Meal Program, to name a few. Annual Clinical Assessments and Flu Shots are available completely free of charge to all members of the Armour team and their immediate family.

Employee and family assistance program

By partnering with inConfidence from Medavie Blue Cross, Armour Transportation Systems provides employees with a comprehensive EFAP program that focuses on improving both mental and physical health. This fully bilingual service offers everything from support and advice on parenting and childcare to dealing with financial, legal and work-related issues. Counselors are available on a 24-hour basis to all employees and their immediate family on a free and strictly confidential basis.

Part of the community: giving back at work

Armour Transportation Systems strives to give back to the communities in which we operate and that is why employees are encouraged to participate in events like JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes, the Dragon Boat Festival and CIBC Run for the Cure. We also host bake sales, dances, 50/50 draws, and sporting events, to name a few, in order to raise money for a number of important causes. To date, Armour Transportation Systems has proudly donated over $800,000 to JDRF Canada, our charity of choice.
